We apologize for the late notice but we are going to be switching our activity for this Saturday October 8th. We were going to be attending Ditmars Orchard for a family day, but to our knowledge no families with children are going to be able to attend the activity. Also, the orchards have been picked over and apples are no longer available for picking. Originally, the orchard thought apples would still be available, but the season changed a little quicker than anticipated. We hope no one is too disappointed about the switch, we apologize if we inconvenienced anyone.
The NEW activity is going to be a BBQ and Pumpkin Carving Party at the Schenk's house this Sat, Oct 8th, at 5:00. For the BBQ please bring a side dish or dessert to share. For pumpkin carving bring a pumpkin and your pumpkin carving supplies. We are currently working on reserving the clubhouse of the complex for the activity just in case weather does not cooperate. The clubhouse is located just inside the complex immediately on your left. We will let you know if the activity ends up there or not. Otherwise we will be at the Schenk home, 2440 S 3rd St Plaza. Weather permitting we will be outside for the festivities. If this changes allows those with children to attend there will be a playground available just outside our house.
